How To: Create a New Post

Have something to say but don’t know how to make yourself heard? No worries — you’ve clicked to the write place.

To start a new thread of conversation, click the new post link at the top of the page. If you aren’t already logged in, you will be prompted to do so. If you don’t have a login name, click the register link to create a login for yourself. BTW, your registration isn’t authenticated until you respond to an email from MediaNewsAndViews. So, harry@ThisIsntReallyMyEmailAddress.com won’t be able to login and add new posts. :>)

After you login, click the new post link again and you will be redirected to a page where you can create your new post.

Subscribe to MediaNewsAndViews (don’t worry, it’s free. And it won’t hurt a bit!)

Subscribe to our RSS feed and we’ll bring the news to you. It’s free, easy, and not nearly as intrusive as door-to-door salesman and telemarketers who interrupt your dinner (even after you registered for DO NOT CALL three times!)

If you are using Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer, look for the  RSS symbol. Or click on the menu for

Tools–>Subscribe to This Feed (in IE) or
Bookmarks–>Subscribe to This Page (in FF) or
Preferences–>RSS (in Safari)
You can also add newsfeeds (another fancy word for RSS) to your mailbox in Mac Mail an Outlook 2007. Finally, if you have My Yahoo or iGoogle, you can put what’s news to MediaNewsAndViews right on your front page, too. Check local listings for more detail!

Posting Principles: Everything in Moderation

Our crack team of editors will review your posts as quickly as possible to screen out spam and stuff that Isn’t Fit To Print. It’s our goal to have an uncensored discourse which includes everyone and insults no one. At any point, please tell us how you think we are doing!

In some cases, we might delay your post to offer someone mentioned in your post a chance to respond — in the same time frame as your post. Let’s just say we are try to have a Spare And Balanced conversation, where appropriate.
